Home groups online

At Poole Christian Fellowship we have always met together midweek in each others’ homes, socially and for prayer and Bible Study. These groups have now moved online and will meet weekly, via Zoom, for 8-10 weeks.

Get Involved!

Below are the three topics to choose from this term, with a range of times available.

Bringing the Bible to Life

The Bible Society has produced some excellent small study group material “based around six key themes including prayer, social justice and the Bible. … They’re suitable for groups of mature Christians as well as those new to the Christian faith. Each session includes video interviews and invites reflection on a passage from the Bible, plus the opportunity to experience a spiritual practice.”

Discuss & Pray

This is an exciting opportunity to chat with others about the things that matter most to you – then bring them to the One who can actually do something about them!  It may be “hot topics,” health, media, family, personal or faith challenges – or encouragements, work… There’s no end to the list of things relevant to our lives that God wants us to talk to Him about…AND WE CAN!!

Not Just For Sundays

How often do we hear something on a Sunday that encourages, challenges (or confuses!) us, but by Monday morning, it’s been evicted from our busy brains. Not Just For Sundays is a great opportunity to reflect on, discuss and bed-in our Bible teaching on Sundays. The speaker for the week, or an elder/other, will provide a summary of the message and propose questions for the group to discuss and pray in.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up (virtually!) meeting together…but encouraging each other – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Need Technical Help?

We understand that this may be a little bewildering for some, but there will be technical support available to help you join in. We also realise that this will not be accessible to all. We will be taking extra special care that those people still feel included in and supported by their group.

Connect with us on social media

As we are currently not able to meet physically, join us on social media to be notified when new content is available, such as our Sunday morning service.
