We can’t wait to meet you
What to expect on Sunday
As a church family, we love being with each other and praising God – so Sunday mornings are great opportunities for us to get together.
Our Sunday morning meeting starts from 10am with refreshments in the café area for 30 minutes, before we head through to the hall. We start the service with a time of worship, which includes singing and prayer – song lyrics are projected onto the screen, so feel free to sing along or join in however you feel most comfortable.
After this, the speaker will talk and share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. We then have a time of reflection, which often involves more singing and prayer. The café is open again after the service (around 12pm) so you can have another cuppa and carry on conversations.
We are eager to see young disciples who last, so we’ve got a number of groups for different ages that meet on a Sunday morning, please take a look and see where your child can fit in.
On Sunday mornings, we have two times of Spirit-filled worship to help us fix our eyes on Jesus and open our hearts to Him. This is modern in style. You can expect guitars and drums, but the words of the songs we choose are Gospel-centred and filled with praise for our God.
The first time of worship will often be uplifting, with a focus on praise, and the second time of worship will often be a time of reflection after the talk. This second time is great for bringing to God what we’ve learnt, things to praise Him for and ways that we might like to change to become more Christ-like.
We’re a Bible-believing church, so each talk is based on a passage from God’s Word and lasts around 30 minutes. Often we have a talk series which we follow for several months to get the most out of the books of the Bible that we read. We’re blessed to have many gifted, God-centred speakers, so the person bringing the talk with vary from week-to-week.
